Vintage "Indian" 1935
I felt I had to start another painting and I chose this Indian. Indian Motorcycles were America's first motorcycle company. There is something so interesting in older bikes. I painted my bike, the Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle. You can see the picture in my online gallery. But for some reason, painting vintage bikes is close to my heart. While I paint, I rediscover the history behind them. Each small part of the bike has a bigger meaning, to be able to create a beautiful piece of artwork, which is the motorcycle.
I'm using this picture as a reference. While I was in North Carolina in Maggi Valley, a friend of mine took me to "Wheels Through Time Transportation”. I found that this is the perfect place for inspiration for my art, as a well perfect place for bikers. It would be to much to talk about all that was there. I even spent a few hours just admiring and it wasn't enough. I will definitely be back. But for now I will focus on this vintage Indian Motorcyle and put my memories and skills on canvas. If you want you can follow me on my art journey. Find me on my social media. Peace!
